As part of the daily after Fajr program regarding the life of a Muslim, the following is a Sunnah Dua for one afflicted with Difficulty or Depression
Nabiصلى الله عليه وآله وسلم said: The invocation of my brother Dhun-Nun : “There is no deity besides You ; You are free from any imperfection. Verily, I am of the wrongdoers ” … None who is experiencing difficulty employs it except that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala would relieve him of his difficulty ~Tirmidhi
لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Transliteration: La ilaa ha illa anta subhaanaka inni kuntu minazzaalimeen
Translation: “There is no deity besides You ; You are free from any imperfection. Verily, I am of the wrongdoers ”
Surah Al-Anbiya 21:87
• If recited 40 times daily and one passes away from an illness, one will die as a Shaheed (Martyr) – If one recovers, then all one’s minor sins will be forgiven ~ (Durre Manthoor)
