As part of the daily after Fajr program regarding the daily life of a Muslim, the following sunnah dua is for the angles to seek forgiveness on ones behalf, and to die as a martyr.
Hazrat Ma’qal bin Yasaar (RA) narrates that Rasûlullâh صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم said:
“Whoever recites 3 times in the morning:
and thereafter the last 3 ayats of Surah Hashr once,
70 000 angles are appointed by Allah, who seek forgiveness on his behalf till the evening. Should he die during the day, he will die as a Shaheed (martyr). Whosoever recites the above dua in the evening will enjoy the same virtue till the morning” (Mishkaat p188)
